In his day George Foreman was probably the most feared boxer in the HW division. I remember seeing him KO Ken Norton. He hit him so hard, with a chopping downward punch, that Norton actually bounced off of the canvas after getting hit. He broke Ali's jaw in the 3rd rd of their fight and Ali fought the rest of the fight to a decision.

Yep, rumble in the jungle.Norton was the one who broke Ali's jaw. Foreman and Ali only fought one time, in the famed "Rope A Dope" bout, which obviously was a knock out win for Ali.
Foreman's punches don't even look very hard, but they put men on the floor. The fight you're thinking of was against Michael Moorer in 1994. Look it up. I remember watching that fight live- HUGE shock.
I remember that fight. It was Moorer all the way for the decision, then all of the sudden, George taps him on the chin and he's down.
That was not a tap, that was a square and perfectly placed jab.
