Did I blow my mobo?!?

I have a year old kt3 ultra and after a few changes to the "advanced chipset/dram settings" having to do with CAS latency aso with some new memory. Anyway after changing the settings the computer wouldn't start, the "D-bracket" posted 4 red leds - According to the mobo manual that indicates that the CPU is corrupt or badly attached.

WTF!!! I didn't touche the CPU, I've reinstalled it and reapplied AS3 removed all other components and installed again, cleared CMOS, removed and attached battery, tried different memory...

PLEAS ANSWER ME!!

How long did you leave your battery out? You might try for an hour or so.

How well attached is the place your memory slots are at on your motherboard. Is there much flex? Have heard of breaking lans in the board when installing memory when the board flexes.

Otherwise, you might just be in one of those wierd coincedence situations where some component failed at the same time you made some unrelated change. (Was the power plugged in / power supply switch on when you put the new memory in?)

No the board worked fine with the new memory... Untill I changed CAS, Cas to Ras, Ras precharge and something else to do with the memory...

anyway I have ordered a new proccessor, if that doesn't work I'm gonna throw my computer out from a 10 story house, then beat it with a 10kg sledgehammer, then piss on it, then try again!...

PS: Or maybe some I'll just have to order a new mobo...
