did I break touchpad screen?

I sat on my HP touchpad by mistake everything works but the colours on the screen gave a blue hue and look dimmer. If I press Dow had n the screen the colours return to normal and it looks fine. Did I just break the screen? Everything works fine aside from that. But it looks ugly.

That is weird... Is the casing bent? Sounds like you bent it and are bending it back temporarily. Do you see any cracks?

Sounds like you may have squished the thin film applied to the screen.

BTW, not sure what you are talking about. "Touchpad?" That is the HID on most notebooks - never saw one with a screen. Are you meaning a tablet?

You can try popping the screen off, separating the front panel from the LCD, and reassembling it. I took mine apart a while back to replace the power button, though I didn't have to disassemble the LCD. It took a lot of force to open, and I broke a bunch of the clips in the process but it seems about as sturdy as it was before I opened it up.
