Did I buy the wrong PSU?

Hey.

I have ordered all the parts for my setup:

Ryzen 5 1600
Asus Prime X370 Pro
16 GB Trident Z, DDR4 3200mmHz CL14
Asus GTX 1080 TI Strix Gaming OC
Seasonic P-760 80 Platinum Plus PSU
Crucial MX 300 1,05 TB SSD
Fractal Design Define C

I noticed that my choice of PSU has these connectors:

1 x 20+4pin ATX
1 x 4+4pin CPU
1 x 8pin CPU
4 x 6+2pin PCI-E
10 x SATA
5 x Molex
1 x Floppy

I was going to list my mobo specs, but the list is too long..

Asus GTX 1080 TI Strix Gaming OC requires 2x8 pin connector so what can I do now?

How can I even calculate if all these parts fit into my choice of case? Pc PartPicker doesn't shop any incompatibilities though.

Seasonic's website shows that unit having four PCIe power cables.

As far as everything fitting in the case, just go to Fractal Design's website and look at the specs of the case. It will tell you how tall of a CPU cooler and length of the video card it will accommodate.

From what I can tell, well guess anyways, I think he thought one of the 8-pin CPU cables was what would be plugged into his video card. However, he would be using two of the PCIe connectors.

Hopefully, the OP does some additional computer building homework, or thoroughly reads the manuals before building. Lots can go wrong if a person forces the wrong cable into the wrong part.

Yes, I thought wrong. I know now it is compatible. I am building my first PC and I am researching all the time. But I will not build my PC on my own so I should be good.

Hello! I just built a new PC myself based on the Define C chassis a few days ago (Tempered Glass edition btw), and although Fractal Design themselves recommend 175mm PSU length at most, I can confirm for doubleplus sure that 180mm PSUs such as Corsair RM series for example does fit perfectly in this case, even when keeping the 3.5" drive cage in the case and even with a basically full set of power cables hooked up to the PSU.

I have two EPS cables plugged in, as well as a full four PCIe auxiliary power cables for my dual GPUs, two SATA power cables, and then a single 4-pin molex cable for just-in-case situations. I was still able to tie everything down so that the chassis panel closed flush without bulging. It's tight, but certainly doable.
