I just ordered an MSI gaming laptop from bestbuy, it's listed for less than half it's msrp (if you want to know which one let me know through forum-accepted means or search it out yourself), I'm just wondering if there's any chance of trickery. Any of you have experience with a major retailer creating shenanigans? My cc has already been billed for the listed price, I'm REALLY hoping it works out. GTX970m, just had to throw that out there

I don't see anything like that on the bestbuy website.

Yeah just worried they might cancel and take 90 days to refund my cc or something. You know, the usual nonsense. The closest thing I can find to that in Canada is about $2400 so my spider sense is tingling.

To bad it's a 17" unit...I do know somebody who's been on the lookout for a gaming laptop. ~1300$ is about the best I've found so far with 1080, i7 quad, and 970M.

So, this order still hasn't shipped, I tried emailing the seller with the 'contact seller' link in my receipt, it failed. I contacted nest buy, they emailed back with a direct email address to the seller. I emailed them, they called back and said they had a bit of trouble with the shipping, but it was being taken care of. He then said, "now, that was the msi gs60 xx, right", and I said, "no it was a gs70 033" to which he said "what? It doesn't say that on our records" and I got his email address and sent him a copy of my receipt with price and SKU.
Now, can they weasel out? It's starting to feel like a level 3 weasel maneuver.

I wouldn't even bother with the real store though. I bought one thing from BB's online shop and it took forever to get it. Maybe I was just spoiled through amazon, but it was enough to not bother trying again.
