Did I lose my jump drive content?

At my job, they have been changing the network setting so we cannot use our jump drives and making other changes as well. Well, it was working fine then I had to reboot my computer and left the jump drive in the computer. Once back up I tried to access it and then it says "The disk in drive E is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?" It does this at my home computer as well.
This really bad, but am I screwed?

i think you are.seems like you r only choice is to
a. format or
b. try it on some other computer you dont own(maybe a friend's)

Stupid computers!!!! Stupid me for not backing up my data. Is there some kind of softwareI can download that will lock my drive or require a password to write or something like that?

I dunno about yours, but my Kingston drive has a program that came with it that sets up a secure zone so you can't write/read to/from it unless you have access.

In your case, I might try some disk recovery programs, but I don't know if they work with removable (flash) drives.
