I hate to be that guy... But based on the mirror and how the light ended up, it looks like it got hit from the mirror first and they then pulled forward into the fender and light, which would mean it would probably be the passenger side front wheel that did it.
Anybody else on the same page or am I nuts?

Possible. Drivers mirror had was a small yellow scratch.
So most likely car was hit at an angle. First slight touch by the mirror, then vehicle hits the fender. If that happened, the right side of yellow vehicle should have some kind of scratch/damage.
Op needs to go back and take a photo of the passenger side.
Also take that dumbass steering wheel club off. It's utterly useless, aside from making a good lever to help someone break the column lock.
