Did I watch the right Slumdog Millionaire?

just finished watching it and it was definitely mediocre at best
really? he won the money? they get back together? the brother says sorry? wow awesome
love that symbolize of the money bath at the end. so deep.

No Country for Old Men and Crash were definitely twice as good, I guess 2008 sucks (haven't seen the Departed)
looking at past best pictures, this might be the worst except for the couple I didnt see and Million Dollar Baby (which sucked)

maybe I need to watch it again? haha

The plot is cliche but watching the stories is what's interesting. Good directing/editing/music. This wasn't suppose to be some revolutionary plot

although, Slumdog was good, but not much more. really didn't deserve any sort of nod over The Wrestler and Wall *E (neither of which were even nominated...and I don't generally care for animated flicks, either.)
