Chrome font rendering was updated.
With todays release, users can expect better-looking fonts and increased rendering performance without changes required by Web developers. Unless youre a designer or font aficionado, the difference is subtle until you actually update and start using the browser
OK, comments to the rescue:
1. Open a new tab and type in "chrome:flags" (without quotes) in the search bar
2. Do a Find (CTRL+F) for "DirectWrite" (Disable DirectWrite Windows) & Enable it
3. Close all of your Chrome browser (restart Chrome)
My forum fonts are back to normal now
Everything works the same on my end, maybe your eyes are a bit buggy today .

it's definitely chrome where they ruin something new with each release.
the fonts on this board are unreadable in newer builds of chrome. I downgraded to make it usable.
Going to try that fix Kaido posted, thanks.
Tried that, didn't help. Clicking on opera seems to have done the trick though.
Make sure the directwrite option is white not grey. Grey = on.
When you click enable you are telling the browser to disable it. Kind of backwards.
