I don't know how anyone could watch that speech and think he only slurred during one word. The entire thing looks like he's trying to hold his teeth in, especially when he says "hearchs and minds to poshible and poshibilitiesh". It looks like he's holding something extra in his mouth. It isn't so much slurred like a medical condition. Right after he says that he purses his lips and it seems he's trying to adjust whatever it is and it's okay for a few words, then it gets weird again by the time he gets to "Chrishin and Mushlim"
As for cutting him some slack...Trump has made a living bullying, ridiculing and shaming others. Making fun of the disabled etc. If one of Trump's numerous political enemies stuttered over a speech, Trump would ridicule him/her from then on. Sorry, what comes around goes around.
My step mother has dementia. It is viscous but even with that said I don't know which I prefer. Of course I don't wish it on Trump or any one for that matter but IF it's true it's a legit reason to remove him because either way he's a hateful, mendacious grifter (among many other damaging things detrimental to America).I think dementia is more likely. Joe Scarborough said that people from within the Trump campaign said he was suffering from early stages of dementia. Trump has not filed a lawsuit over that. If Joe made that up, it is slander.
