ive tried pot a couple of times, but i was going through alot and couldnt sleep. it definitely fixed that problem.

My parents kept a few books around (very PC, not that informative) and told me to ask if I had any questions. As seems usual, by the time they got the books and brought up the subject, I knew more than enough already, so I never asked anything.

I got the "Blockbuster animated rental video" of explaining sex to a kid. my dad watched it with me and asked if I had any questions. I didn't.

Never. I kinda wanna do the talk when I have kids though, who knows.

Seems like sometimes my parents let me go too easily on social issues but are Nazis when it comes down to grades and academics.

I remember watching Grey's Anatomy with my parents and they saw the party episode where they throw a party at Meredith's and half the ppl are passed out drunk. I told them I threw up at my bday party after drinking too much and they were like "oh ok." and laughed. Great. Iono.

Yes, I got the talk. They started from when I was a young age, so it was very gradual, and was not super ackward.
