I don't think Pippen or Barkley ever saw a forward with the combination of speed, strength, and Basketball IQ that Lebron possesses.

Has Lebron faced a defender the likes of Pippen or Barkley? Maybe if Ron Artest, Bruce Bowen or Kobe guards him but their defense isn't as good as Pippen or Barkley.

And Ewing and Robinson never had to guard the combination pure muscle, height and speed that Stoudemire and Howard have. If you are getting beat on the step you have to foul or hope your help can rotate over fast enough.

I dunno....the way players are built now vs. 20 years ago is pretty crazy.

??? Shaq in his prime was bigger and stronger than both Stoudemire and Howard, both Robinson and Ewing had to guard him, they would more than hold their own against Stoudemire and Howard.

And Lebron hasn't seen a defender like Pippen was. You don't even need Pip to totally shut Lebron down.....all he'd have to do is slow him up some. Lebron is not going to go off on Pip for 30+pts a game.

Jordan in his prime is going to abuse Kobe, and is going to shut Kobe down to boot. No contest at all. Big scoring edge for Dream Team 1.

Come on....Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh vs. David Robinson and Patrick Ewing? Howard's fouling out, and quickly. Chris Bosh doesn't stand a chance.

PF is where the original Dream Team will really dominate. Nobody is going to stop Malone or Barkley, and Barkley will likely cause Stoudemire to get ejected after he pisses him off.

And you haven't even gotten into Larry Bird, Clyde Drexler or the PG's.
