My first job pay squat becasue I was working for my parents. However, my weekend job (mowing lawn & gardening) pay $5.00 CAD per hour (minimum wage was $3.40 CAD).

I think I made $4.15 an hour at my first job. I had a job before that that I was getting paid under the table, so I won't count that one.

Same here but that was 36 years ago and it was tax free. (I was 14 working as a Laborer for my fathers construction company)

pretty good money back then. mine was delivering pizzas. left that job to work in a furniture store for a whoppng 5/hr. was a lot of money to a 16yo that already paid cash for his car.

nah. but pretty close though. used to work as a tutor at Kumon for $6.50/hr back in high school (11th - 12th grade). only M, W, F 6-9pm. The only reason i stayed there was because some cute girls (my age...no im not a pedophile) used to work there also.

$4.25/hour at age 15 back in 1994 working as a lifeguard. I was pissed because all the other pools were paying over $5/hour, but I was working at the only one close enough to ride my bike to.

In 2002: got bumped down to $7 an hour as a delivery driver, but made much more due to tips (about $15/hour on avg)

Wow, i forgot about that. I handed out flyers when i was like 13. Got paid by the flyer, i think it was like 2 cents a flyer or something. I got fired because i got caught dumping loads of flyers in the garbage
