Maybe we should take this one step at a time.

How is my signature?

Cool sig.

First step is to congratulate you on joining the best team ever. Second is to make sure that you can never leave.

OK; this team rocks! Here I go....

I will never leave TA (except if I die)!!

I've only been DCing for a month so I would like my first month forgotten (all except the stats)

Thank you! Watch out Geoffs!
jk
My weekends are usually more productive.

I'm looking for advice on some other projects I should participate in with TA.

Keywords to me are "Remote" and "Batch Files"

Well the Community TSC Team could use some help. But if you are looking to install a client on many machines remotely using a batch file then SETI is a good one for that. If you are using Windows 2k there is even an installer that will install it over a network for you without the need of batch files.

However, with that said I'd like to see you give Geoffs a run for his money.

I will try a few nodes on SETI to give it a try. Yeah, all of my Windows machines are 2000.

Like I said in my other post... all I see are these two bright headlights, a big chrome grill, and the work MACK headed my way... what could it be???

My cavalry, however, is just over that next rise....

And if the rig breaks down my father is the Freightliner/ASE Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technician of the Year. I'm not kidding either he accepted the award yesterday and its not the first time he has won it.

Here is the FlexInstaller, created by our very own bot2600 and Shuxclams (sorry, couldn't find the official link, so i linked to my ISP space where i've uploaded it to ) which can install across a network to Win2000 and XP machines.

You will need to have Admin rights on the machines you wish to install it on, and you will require permission (preferably written) saying that you can install it on the machines if you do not personally own them.

It is pretty self explanatory, you choose how many/which computers to install it on, set up a proxy server if you need one to reach the outside world, or a SetiQueue (ask if you need help with SetiQueue), what times you want it to run (useful if computers are left on all night, but employers don't want it run during day or you notice slowdowns when running it (such as with Outlook 2000 running). and then finally the "Install" button, which will install the client and the service to all the computers you've specified

Diesel, one cool thing you can do is change to TA_diesel.... we like our top dogs sticking out like a sore thumb in the DPC's crawl..

You will prolly have to wait till the servers are working right again though..
