Diet Sodas

So I'm trying to start 1. drinking less soda, 2. drink diet soda. My dentist says all the sugar in soda (I drink a lot) is fucking with my teeth.

I'm trying desperately to drink some Coca Cola Vanilla Zero, but it tastes like shit! Every sip is about as sweet as two liters should be!!!

Any kinds that taste better than others?

I only drink diet because HFCS leaves a aftertaste I can't stomach. You happened to pick one of the worst sodas to step into diet with. Diet cherry 7up, diet sunkist, diet barqs root beer, coke cherry zero are good ones to me for sure.

I find all Vanilla flavored sodas to be quite disgusting.

Diet Pepsi is pretty good, but so is Diet Dr. Pepper, it's probably the one that tastes most like the original.

When I have regular soda overseas, I have the equivalent of a mouthgasm. They use real sugar

Gonna try Diet Barqs, Cherry Coke Zero, and Diet Dr. Pepper. Going to steal the Diet Pepsi Max I found in the fridge.

You might try looking in the water isle of your local store for carbonated water. You can usually find it with a slight lemon, lime or orange taste. No sugar, no artificial sweeteners. Or just buy the plain stuff and drop a couple of slices of orange, lemon, whatever, in your glass.

You can also look into making your own soda. That way, you can control what, if any sugar, goes into your drink. Just google it, there are a lot of sites on the subject.

Coke zero, a&w root beer, Sunkist orange, Dr. Pepper, Pepsi one, Mt. Dew are all good for me. I can drink pretty much any other than generic diet. Was nasty switching for me also, but got used to it, now can't drink regular.

Dr. Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper is my current favorite, but considering you didn't care much for the vanilla diet coke (whatever they are calling it now) makes me lean more towards recommending the regular Diet Dr. Pepper instead.

I love regular Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. This Coca-Cola Vanilla Zero (seriously, Coke, people liked it better when Vanilla and Cherry came before Coke, not after; Vanilla Coke Zero makes more sense than Coke Vanilla Zero) doesn't taste a thing like Vanilla Coke, just tastes like a bunch of aspertame.

Diet Dr. Pepper or it's store name variants (Diet Dr. K (Kroger), Diet Dr. M (Meijer), Diet Dr. Thunder (Walmart), others) do taste the closest.

From experience, I'll tell you that you get used to the taste (i.e. you'll have no after taste in a short while) and you'll get to the point that regular pop tastes too sweet.

I'll go on record to state that certain fountain drinks (Diet Coke for example) always have an after taste. You might not notice it "as much" after you've been drinking diet for a while, but you still notice it, IMO.

How can regular "pop" taste too sweet when my problem with Diet is how overly insanely artificially sweet it tastes? I'm gonna go grab some Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. pepper

EDIT: Diet Pepsi Max = 1000x better than Diet Coca Vanilla Cola Zero. Plus, I can hit two birds with one stone with this shit, no need to find a sugar free energy drink that tastes good.

dr. pepper is good. My favorite is Diet A&W or Diet Lipton Brisk, both are amazing.

Look for Diet drinks with Sucralose in them. Those tend to taste a little better than ones that solely use Aspartame.

Agreed. Wal-Mart has many flavors, and they are pretty cheep too.

Diet Dr. Pepper and diet sprite are about the only diet pops I can stomach.
