Difference between dvi and analog?

When i use my digital line some games the monitor has issues with quiting and its only 60hz , with the analog its 75hz and fine in games... am i losing much quality by using analog?

good question, im curious of the answer too because my DVI recently died on that same monitor!! haha.

You only need 60 Hz for an LCD. I compared my VX2025 using both Analog and Digital in 2D and 3D. I will say there is a difference, but how much is going to be up to each individual. IMO it's enough of a difference that if it's a continued problem you should send in for an RMA. You paid for an LCD that has a DVI input, then you should get to use it.

Now after stating that, I'm not sure what your exact issue is with quitting games. Can you give more details?

Im playing an old online game called helbreath and sometimes when i quit / alt tab it loses the signal =(. The monitor sits there turning on and off until i pull the power out the back and put it back in...
