Newegg has 4 different models for the eVGA 7800GT listed. Aside from some differences in clockspeed, is there anything else that makes these different from one another?
518 doesnt come with a free SLI motherboard... thats just the model number of the card that comes with the bundle. 518 is the first EVGA model. The only difference between the 518 and 515 is 518 comes with an extra box surrounding the Retail Box. 515 just comes with the Retail box.

i also have 518; i bought it right when the 7800 GT's came out and it came with 2 boxes. I was told by the store that the only difference is the extra box.
maybe wherever you bought it from removed this box.
