If yer looking at Fuji...STAY AWAY FROM THE Fuji FinePix 4700 Zoom.

It claims to be equivalent to a 4.7 megapixel camera...well, it's a 2.3mp interpolated. A lengthy review clearly shows that it's image quality was more like an sub-average 2mp camera.....BOO on Fuji! Remeber the Cyrix P200 CPU (runs at 150mhz, but performs "like" a Pentium 200)....same thing....

Goto www.reviewfinder.com there's several lengthly (like 30 pages with tons of comparasion pics) reviews on all sorts of stuff...including the finepix4700

BTW, I think Fuji makes great digital cameras....except for this one....Booo...Hisss....

You want to check out ANY "cheap" camera vendor at someplace like ResellerRatings.

Hey you guys might want to check out the newest Hewlett Packard camera, the Photosmart 315.. They just barely released it.. it has 1600x1200 resolution (thats 2.1 megapixel), a cool little instant review feature, and its WAY easy to use. It should be priced right around $300 most places but if you have a $30 off $150 or a similar code you could get a really good deal on it. I'm not sure what places have it now, they're gonna start a sales push on it within a week. If anyone knows a place to buy it (besides through HP direct) let us know

Hey stop beating up on the Cyrix P200+ processers. I've had a Cyrix P150+ for years (right now it runs FreeBSD on my DSL firewall/web/mail/file server) and it has always performed just fine. The only thing that sucks about them is their FPU - you don't want to play games on there. But for integer it does quite nice...

Go to computer4sure.com they have the rebate there. You have to go into the cameras section on the tabs then its under the listing for the fuji camera. That one worked for me earlier today.

why is it that you cant just get the rebate from fuji themselves? why do you have to get it from somewhere else? Wouldnt it seem logical that you should be able to get a manufactureres rebate from the manufacturer? what the hells with them!!!
