With my previous MB, I did not have this problem at all. A few days ago I changed motherboards; now running an Abit IP35-Pro. Nothing else about my system changed. Same cables and related equipment.
I have what can best be described as "digital noise" thru my speakers. A low-volume hum/ticking/crackling. The volume level of the noise does NOT change with lowering/raising the volume; it's always there. It's very fatiguing to have to hear!
The front panel audio jacks from the case are not hooked up.
I've tried changing all the settings. I've changed which rear panel jack I plug the speaker into. I even disabled the optical digital out with no effect.
Again, I did not have this issue with the previous MB (Gigabyte P965-DS3).
Any ideas?
