I have hesitated to post this but at last I must.
I have been a member for a month, but have been coming to this site for about 6 months.
I have tried your Dell Deals almost on a daily basis (as you post them), and we (myself and several friends) are rarely able to get them to come out to the price you quote. When we do get the price you quote and we go to checkout the deal is dead. I don't know exactly what your scam is (maybe you work for Dell and are trying to get hits to their site?).
Has anyone out there been able to get the deals from rasputinj??????????????????

i have always been able to get it to the price as rasputinj posted. i've even tried going lower and scrounging around for coupons and what not but he has always given the lowest price available.
maybe its something on your end and you were to slow to react to get in on a good deal.

Hi Guys,

The price of $389 is correct - You just need to click "Continue" where it says $502 and you will be taken to the next page where you can drop the warranty from 2 to 1 year (substract $113) and $389 is the final price.

The only problem is 4600 deal in the last several days were way hotter (I got 4600 with 17" TFT for $600 including tax)

No scam, you are just doing it wrong somehow. It happens quite often, you just have to play with it til you get it right.

I've also used Rasputinj's posts and almost always get it to come out to the right price. I got my Inspiron 8600 recently at that price, although I customized the crap out of it afterwards. I think you might be doing it wrong. Go to the site he mentions (Home or Small Business) and make sure you go to the right model and click on "Featured Systems". That should give you the configuration with the price that he mentions. If not, then maybe you're just unlucky. I got this same config to work, and it prices out at $339 for me as I speak. Make sure you click on the link that says "Featured Systems". PEACE.

I finally got it to work.
You did not mention about going from 2 years to 1. But it finally works and I have ordered it.
So therefore I digress and apologize.
