Wow, that sucks. I just finished testing mine with Dead Pixel Buddy and everything looks perfect. This is one sweet monitor.

Like they couldn't have moved that stupid support bar on the sidepanel an inch back! :|
I was considering dremeling a hole in it, but I think I have an extra right-angle cable in the office. Gotta dig around.

I am absolutely positive they did this on purpose. I also considered dremeling a hole into it, but if anything ever happened I'd still want the warranty.

Yep, when i opened the damn thing i was shocked. Strange layout, looks like btx. And the sata issue almost killed me, i am using it without the side panel on it lol.

Nope, Gateway's equivalent does the same thing. You have to have the special SATA cable.

The third time was the charm. No dead pixels on this one. This one's a keeper.
