Well, I seem to be up and running... It's a pity that this thing doesn't have a service install, because I normally log off when I leave my computer during the day or at night. I guess I'll just have to get in the habit of locking it instead of logging off.

Check it out guys, on the Dimes page, I'm in the top 10 for the weekly stats along with the Rebel Alliance. I'd also like to comment on schleppy, he already has 30 nodes and 30 edges in the 3 days he's been running it. That's very good.

I check the stats earlier today and was like WTF, that is strange. Plus I'm running it on an old Pentium 200, ah well the specs mean "jack squat". Cool program though.

Ya it's strange, the 2 machines I added yesterday each had 14 hits a piece yet all these are running in my house. I Wonder why only some of my machines find nodes and edges?

It is odd. My old laptop, running on a 802.11b wireless card, has 39 nodes in 2 days, but my big dog PC with Gigabit Ethernet, wired to my router, has zero.
Go figure.

Has anyone found a program to monitor dimes installs to make sure they are running?

Silver, I'm using an Excel SS with a macro that fetches the stats from the web and compares them with the previous stats fetch. A machine that's not running sticks out like a sore thumb.

Lazy me, I even have a macro to reset the spreadsheet so it is ready to go the next time I want to check the stats.

OK, I'm going to give Dimes a try again on this PC. I bumped up the RAM by another 256M, cleaned out everything, pulled the heatsink/fan, added new thermal paste, and now things seem to be working much better!

If I can get to it remotely now, I'll leave it on!

Here's a strange lil' tidbit, Dimes has shut it self down twice now for no aparent reason. I left it running and now for the 2nd time I come back to check it and it's closed itself off completely, not even an icon on the taskbar. Has this happened to anyone else?

The reason my stats are so low today is because it had shut itself off on 4 or 5 machine today while I was at work.
