I don't know why I keep getting the d-Link DIR-655, because it always craps out and/or requires daily reboots.
I have a DIR-655 with the following attached:
wired:
-directv hd dvr
-NAS
-blu-ray player
wireless:
-canon printer
-netbook
-laptop
-xbox 360
every morning when I wake up, the computers are disconnected from wireless, and the network is not visible. I have to reboot the router and the computers to get them to communicate again.
My rube goldberg solution is to put a simple light timer on the power cable to the wireless network, so it is turned off for about a half hour very early each morning.
Anyone have any other solutions or suggestions? The router is just over 30 days old, so there's no returning it.
