But I totally agree, it depends on the rep. Some are total d!c1<s while others are more willing to please so keep calling back might help you get a better deal.

Just called and got free showtime/starz for 3 months and HBO for 6 months at $2 a month. They wouldnt give me any money off so I caved and accepted

This deal is still going at the retentions phone number listed earlier. I got an extesnsion for my mother for basic with HBO for $15 off.

a little over a month ago, I cancelled my service with directv and 2 days later, they called me and offered 50% off my bill for 6 months, all the premium movie channels free for 3 months and a free HD DVR, talk about them begging. I of course said no since they could not provide me the channel that I wanted.
