Recently started using Vista x64, so DirectX 10 is a pretty new experience for me.
As of now, I seem to be experiencing some problems with games in DirectX 10 mode.
So far I have only tested with Crysis, Crysis Warhead & Company of Heroes.
Whenever I start these games in DX10 mode, they always start in a "Windowed mode" even though I make sure the "Full screen" option checked in the game settings menu before I quit the game everytime.
However, if I reverted to DX9 mode (both the above games I mention has DX9 mode), then they will always start in "Full screen mode."
- I seem to see this problem with both Nvidia & ATI cards, therefore I don't think it's a driver problem.
- I understand that I can "alt-enter" to switch to full screen, but that sometimes messed up "ATI overdrive" & "crossfire" because they have to switch clockspeed & crossfire mode when switcing from "window" to "full-screen," and it's unstable to do so when the game is already running.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
