Who cares when talking about this season's mvp? MVP is all about what you've done this season. Dirk is an extremely good player, but I don't think he is most deserving of the MVP.

Who cares when talking about this season's mvp? MVP is all about what you've done this season. Dirk is an extremely good player, but I don't think he is most deserving of the MVP.

I'm not a Mavs fan, but I can see why he got it. They had an unreal regular season. He was the best player on the best regular season team this year. That is what the NBA MVP award is.

Choosing Nash over Nowitzki would have been just as acceptable.

Dirk shouldnt have gotten the MVP, they didnt wanna give it to Nash three times in a row and Dirk was the obvious choice.

I dont think Dirk is a bad player, I just think he is not MVP worthy. A guy that can't lead a 67 win team past the first round of the playoffs is not worthy of such a prestigious award.

j..k. You cant rely deny Dirk getting the mvp, his stats were pretty dang good. off the top of my head he avgd like 24 pts 9 board and 3 asts. Considering he took his team to the finals the year before and had a phenomenal year this year. It'd make absolute sense to give it to him.

Good overall year means nothing, when you don't make it out of the first round. By an 8th seed at that!
