Went to a little-noticed Staples to score one of those $4.94 after rebate D-Link webcams (wahoo!) and happened to notice a tag in the display case for 2-packs of Fuji IBM or Mac formatted Zip100 disks for free, though I couldn't quite figure out how they came out to be free.
The tag said $15.94 - $15.94 (some weird term nobody there knew what it meant) = Free. I figured they would be free at the register somehow. The packages themselves noted a $3 mail-in rebate as well.
Puzzled, I asked someone about it. She got the sales manager, who didn't know what was up either, it wasn't in their flyer, but she took one up to scan to see how it rang up. It came up as $15.94 with $13 instant savings, out-the-door price of $2.94 for a pair of Zip disks. Not bad! With the $3 rebate per pack, they're FREE.
Rebate is limited to 2 per name/address, etc. Only time frame for rebate redemption is within 30 days of purchase.

Enjoy,
Brent
