Disappearing $30 off 150 code?

you know . . . one for buy.com . . . for new and returning customers. Dunno, but it was supposed to last to the end of the month. Its not at t***bargains.com nor do the links work at any other site (f**wallet.com etc)

Same goes with a whole BUNCH of coupons. It seems like they all disappeared. All the $30 and $15 off coupons are gone.

What gives? I'm trying to get something cheap for a friend, and those coupons could have helped. Sure, $10 off is nice, but $15 or $30 would be much much nicer.

Yes, they were all pulled. The only ones I know of that work are the $10 off $30 coupons for new customers.

Just wait a bit and I'm sure more will turn up.

Edit: Also, at the end of the quarter there is usually a scramble to get product out the door. We'll see.

Well it's all relate to the economic principal of supply and demand! IMHO, once these sites have enough viewers to attract advertizers, they will give in to these advertizers demands and forget about their viewers. Money corrupt or it's just the way business operate?

Well I was setting up a friend for a Quantum 30 gig HD and a 12x CD-RW for under 225 EDITbefore the $30 quantum MIR):TIDE but now it looks darn bleak I'll be able to do it so low :-(

Don't worry guys, when they put these coupons up, they have ... let's say a set limit on how much many times the coupon will go through before they are pulled. With the holiday season right around the corner, I guess the limit was reached pretty quickly. Don't sweat it guys, these coupons pop up quite frequently...

Well, since Buy.com's financial situation is crap (checked their stock price recently?), I wouldn't be too surprised if the coupons never came back. I've been saying for awhile that they need to do that to actually show a profit -- maybe they're growing some brains (much to the detriment of Hot Deals, however).

We'll see.

Second, although the Coupon link is gone.. I had it in my Shopping basket last week and it is still working for my purchase...TODAY

So next time just add all those coupons to your shopping basket and add some expensive items to make the coupon valid, then decide later what you gonna buy.

Yo...I'm was so freaking pissed. I had everything ready to checkout last nite ready to buy tonight and they go do this. I called their CSR and mentioned the flyer I received via postal mail for 30/150 for returning customer. She says she couldnt do anything about the coupon, but she went a head and creditted me $20 to my order. Better than nothing and tonight is the last day for FREE SHIPPING!

I don't know what kind of fine print that mailer had, but I would read it carefully, they may have to honor it PERIOD, or get sued for false advertising. Most coupons like that only have an expiration date and a disclaimer against using it in combination with other offers. I haven't seen many that say they can be pulled without notice before the expiration date.
