Considering that the box is a PowerPC 75Mhz that only holds up to 32M of memory I really doubt you'd want to even if it was possible.

No. Your best bet was XPostFacto, but your model number is not supported by it. You might try it, but it might ruin your mac. Although a model that old isn't worth much anyways.

Considering that Apple says it only goes to 32M I'm skeptical, but I still don't see why you'd even attempt to use a box that slow for anything more than a firewall/router.

Apple used to do this a lot back in the day. They say a machine can only take 32 mb because all you could buy at the time was 16mb chips. Or because they need "low profile" chips and they where not making large capacity chips in low profile yet.

And EveryMac says it can take 64. Link

Anyway. You dont want to run OS X on the machine. You want to take it to the recycling center and get rid of it.

Even so, it's still only the difference between crap and sh!t.

OS 8.x would be your best bet as OS9 used a lot of memory for classic.
