The CG skeleton stuff was pretty cool, but to consider any of their acrobatics as martial arts is a joke.
It was, however, entertaining.
Here we go, folks. Some guy who think's he's the worlds best martial artist know-it-all.
I'm sure that if you were put in the ring with one of those guys that you'd kick their asses, huh! The coreography was obviously fake, but it's meant to show off and display a few ideals in fighting, not give you the martial arts experience of a lifetime and some of the science behind it. Get off it. I enjoyed it. If you didn't, that's too bad. But before you just mouth off about those guys, try doing things on their level or better. There's a reason that they're on the show and you're not.
Hi!! And welcome to reading comperhension 101. Because
that is exactly what I said: I am the world's best martial artist know-it-all. Nothing escapes you, for you are quite the clever one.
Did you even watch this XMA show? First off it was a pretty blatant informercial for the XMA association as well as a tie-in for The Last Samurai flick.
Did the performers look good? Yes, for the most part.
Would they kick my butt if I was to face them? Probably so.
Even the main people on the show stated that they do things showy just to impress the judges with their flamboynce. One guy doing a katana demonstration even said if he did it for show and would get killed if he tried it in 'real' life.
It is not too difficult to listen to what the people on the show say and realize what their XMA association and this show is all about. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Even you just made an admittion that their martial arts demonstrations essentially lacked. So, therefore, you must be some uber-martial arts expert.
Get off it. I enjoyed it. If you didn't, that's too bad.
What part of this do you not understand: "It was, however, entertaining."
Yes, it was enjoyable.
