What's the prize for this thing, anyway?

The problem with judging based on pics is that it is highly subjective. Improvements over 4 months will be overshadowed by lighting conditions, posing improvements, skin color, etc. I say you go by overall weight gain/loss and BF%.

Yes, but the real goal here is to movitate some people. Weight will be highly encouraged, but I don't want to pick a winner simply based on pounds lost. If someone goes from 400 to 380, thats really not much of an improvement.

Interested, but the pics part make me a bit nervous.

Your quads are sick.
Bill, are you competing, or would you want to be a judge, or what? Purbeast and Special K were the first 2 potential judges that popped into my head.
I would be interested in this, though I'm pretty sure I wouldn't win. Just being part of a group doing this together would hopefully be a good motivator.

I'd be down for it (I definately need to lose weight)! how much can someone realistically lose in only 4 months though?
Would pics be available to everyone or just judges?

I am definitely in. I am not really trying to gain or lose, just change. Lose fat, gain muscle. My weight is good for my height.
Maybe have three categories:
Lose: Primarily lose fat. Lose weight.
Recompose: Lose fat, gain muscle. Stay the same weight.
Gain: Gain lean mass and some fat. Increase weight.
