Disney World vs Land, for children under 5

We just went to Disney World at the end of January for 7 days at the parks. We have 3 kids, 8, 6 and 4. We had a blast. There is not a day that goes by they do not talk about it and asking when we are going back. A ridiculous amount of fun watching the kids reactions enjoying the park.

There were some rides where the 6 and 4 year old did not meet the height requirements, but you wouldn't have noticed with everything else there is to do.

Parkhopper passes are only worth it if you have a short stay there, 5 days or less. We did not do Park Hopper passes. Plan on Magic Kingdom a minimum two days, Epcot one to two days, Hollywood Studios half day to one day, Animal Kingdom one day.

You can be like my family and just insist that they took me to Disneyland, Egypt, Machu Picchu, Atlantis, Narnia, etc, but I was too young to remember. Photos were lost in a fire, which I dont remember either.

If a hotel break is taken, doing the park hopper can make 1 day feel like 2. We're going for 5-6 days and getting the park hopper due to this.

The gf and I went to Disney world a couple of years ago and had a blast. But the one thing I remember commenting on most was "this is the happiest place on earth right? Why are so many kids crying and why do so many parents look so miserable?". Highly recommend the trip but to be honest I'd wait til the kids can somewhat handle themselves.

I live in CA, so we always do DL. We are going again next month; ages 4,6,8.
