After he rebooted, Windows XP loads but there is no display. I tried safe mode, VGA mode, but the system just hangs with a blinking cursor.
I suspect that the reason why there is no display is because Windows is expecting to run at a resolution, but since the drivers are not loaded, it cannot handle the resolution. He has an ASUS LCD 21 inch monitor.
This is why I tried VGA mode, but for some reason, none of the safe mode options will load (strange).
I think I can fix this with a regular CRT monitor, load the drivers and it should be fine. But is there another option? Anyways, I am looking for answers. Thanks for any help!
