My parents' Antec SP400 makes a ticking noise too...gets pretty annoying after a while...so I guess you either have to live with it or try to RMA

next time just leave the stickers on (I almost voided my eVGA lifetieme warranty by taking off my sticker, but then decided to just leave it on to find out that it provides the warranty )

996GT2 most of the P-150 cases came with the warrenty stiucker cut on the supplied PSU.

Yep!! Sure did...Right outta the box. Member, AntecCSR didn't want to respond to that in a thread here when i asked him/her. True.

It's ok if the UPC is removed. That only means you can't RETURN it. But you can have no box at all and still RMA it for another.

I have had several Antec PSUs, one old SP 300W, and TP 330W, 430W, and now running a TPII 550W. No issues with any of them. Parent's PC is running on a pretty old Antec SP 350W that other than a fan change due to bearings finally burning out from running 24/7 it has had no issues. My bro is still using his old TP 380W.

I've always liked the TP series better than SP, it used to be that the SP series was the "budget" line and the TP was higher quality and quieter. I don't know about now though.

The ticking in the OP's is probably the fan blades hitting something like a wire or part of the grill. I'll bet the OP could fix it himself but it would void the warranty if you opened it. You can still return it for a replacement, just not a refund - warranty isn't voided because you took off the UPC for a rebate. Antec will still replace it for you.

Well, the PSU will melt if the fan stops spinning. Unless the rear 80mm kicks on like it should.
