No. It takes about a year to complete the imagration process to go to Canada legally.
I was watching the news yesterday and they had a story on the increased interest (web site hits) at the site for Canadian imagration (sp?) -- and they said the average hits went from around 20,000/day to 110,000/day immediately after the election. (I may have my numbers off slightly)
That's where they also said that it takes about a year to complete the process.
So I guess he didn't think his life was worth a year of living under Bush. Sad.
