i upped the buss speed on my main offl ine cruncher to 182x11.5, now it is acting like a 2800. I've also found that the client likes Win98SE over ME, 2000 and XP. The latter three are cpu and memory hogs! If I can do this on a handful of systems anyone can do it! Sneakernet just requires you to be creative (zip disks and CD-R's)!

I didn't join up on SETI because I was hearing that was "ending soon" months and months ago. Joined TA after seeing the call for help on the main page. I will probably be going to folding after SETI ends also.

Just started crunching again and also testing the stability of my new rig. I truly believe that Distributed Folding is one of the best tests of stability. I just bought an AMD XP 2500+ and overclocked it to 3200+ and 1 gig of CAS 2.5 ram running at 2.0. I tweaked voltage settings until it was able to run prime95 successfully for 12 hours. Then I tried DF and it actually caused an error after about 15 minutes. I turned up the voltage just a little more and DF runs beautifully. So just forget about all those over so called system stability tests and go straight to DF.

Let's go team! My production has fallen a bit, at least till Friday, will have an easy mil if not close to 3 to upload! Just from 2 machines! We now have 25 active menbers, up from 19 bfour I started this thread! We are becoming more competitive! We need to be back in the top 10! Where team TADF deserves to be!
