I certainly recognise RaySun2Be as an old moderator (I think) and mechBgon help me setup SCSI arrays I think it was.I have been active here for....oh, 5 years now? Sadly those names are foreign to me. I imagine @Assimilator1 may recognize a few of those?
Damn! I didn't twig the name until Tony pinged me!Thanks TT, I started RC5-64 back in 1999 and quit back in 2008. Figured I would see what was happening in the long interval, I see AnandTech's focusing mainly on other efforts now. Didn't know if any of the old timers (RaySun2Be, mechBgon, PossededFreak, bPhantom) were still monitoring things. Looks like not.
Hey Assimilator. Yes, remember you from the old days. JonB, yes he was from Texas I believe. I suspect I posted more since 2001, but this 50 yr old brain can't be trusted anymore.Damn! I didn't twig the name until Tony pinged me!
Hey Jator, longtime no see, and welcome back! When did you last post? lol [edit] Bar a one post in 2009 selling a CPU, your history reckons not since 2001! (although I know some old threads have vanished).
Btw, I don't think we chatted much back in the day, as I did nearly only SETI until ~2005, and (IIRC) you were focused on RC5? Nonetheless, good to see an old name back .
Ray was still posting here occasionally until a few years ago or so, and he posted recently (ish) in the old timers thread we've got somewhere around here (you should bump it ).[edit] Ok I was way out, last regularly 10yrs ago, twice since, last 4yrs ago (assuming history is right!).
Mech hasn't been seen in DC for a long time, but he was posting in other sections until relatively recently. Haven't seen bphantom in a very long time (IIRC), Possesedfreak I'm not sure about.....
You must know @JonB too? He's still around AT at least.
Actually Jay is me. I didn't remember switching usernames way back when, and when I went to try and remember login I got to Jator first. Now I have to see if I can remember the login for that account.Don't remember myself, but I did a bit of searching for members, Mika wasn't even recognised! But I found him in this thread (which I think you'll appreciate), and that was his last post in 3/2002 (according to the available history anyway).
Lord Demios is another one who doesn't show up in the member search engine , found him here, these were his last postings in 6/2008.
Spacewalker (another one not showing up in members), last posted in DC 2003, generally 2004, last logged in 2009.
I spent way too much time on this, lol (furloughed atm).
[edit] Well I just as well finish up!
@MechBgon last posted 6/2014, @Possesedfreak last in 3/2016 in OT, 2008(?) in DC. @bPhantom last posted 10/2016, although that was after a 4yr gap.
@Jay was another big name in RC5 wasn't he?
Just realised, all the names I've linked will ping them (if they ever log on again).
If any of you old timers every see this, say hello here
Luckily my password creativity is pretty much non existent so I was able to figure it out pretty quickly. Will stick with this one going forward.Lol, you know I did wonder that!
If you use the dnet client it should automagically use both cores, not sure about MOO!Im more of and OGR guy myself, but according to the dnet database, a 7970 should be putting up 3 Gkeys on its own. So an x2 should be twice that. Sadly I dont know how to use the second gpu core.
