Have you send your wu's to distributed (flush ?). If you have, the e-mail adres entered in your client should show up after the next statsrun (every night).
If that doesn't work please post your ini-file from your client here, so we can take a look at it, and tell what isn't properly configured.

looks like your seti production isn't optimized either. i don't know much about how k6s do, but those p3s should be going through 15 or so work units a day. some questions: which client are you using? if gui is it set to run in screensaver or all the time? if screensaver do you have it set to blank screen after a couple minutes or is it drawing the graphics all the time? drawing the graphics takes a lot of computer time, 40% or more. of course, if you're using 3.03 command line it might just be that slow, the new client does a lot more science.

First of all WELCOME to the TeAm !!!!!
To get your password: After the daily(nightly ?) dnet stats run you will have to click on the "Please email me my password" button under your stats since the automatic forwarding doesn't work.

BTW excellent choice besides having chosen the best TeAm on the planet you also chose the most friendly part of these forums for your first post.

WOW... that is a lot of computer power, DigWeed! :Q Welcome to the Team, and keep an eye out for our daily stats reports here.

Hellburner and Fardringle are bringing us daily SETI@home reports, and Team Anandtech is munching its way up the ranks there.

RaySun2Be is bringing us his Milestone Makers reports every day, with reports on people who click over their first 100,000 RC5 work units and all the other 100k marks too. RaySun2Be, you are awesome

NT4Mike has recovered from pneumonia and is bringing us reports on Team Anandtech's OGR stats, we have just reclaimed first place from Slashdot after losing it for months.

Make yourself at home, we also have an IRC channel of our own (no odd people wandering in, thanks to BKehoe of Team SysOpt for hosting us!). That is ground zero for our Unreal Tournament and Quake3Arena fests, so if you are a gamer you will want to come on by and see if we have a fragfest going (UT is the most-played). The IRC channel usually has at least a few active chatters, and you can find us at #teamanandtech on server irc.teamanandtech.com. If you are not a chat person already, the how-to-join FAQ is here, along with our other FAQ's... but it sounds like you're a veteran already.

Nice to have you on the Team

Welcome to the TeAm DigWeed! An impressive fleet you have!

NWM & Colin: Heat? LOL - It is 25f this morning, but with my six overclocked boxes in my apartment it is 71f in here. I've had the A/C on until last week when we had the ice storm.

Well, most of my fleet is in the basement, so they help warm that area up.. actually, when I had both of the APC Matrix 5K UPS's running THOSE generated some heat! But it gets a bit expensive to run those all the time, so I've backed down to a single Matrix 3K. The thermostat is set for 68F, but the temp usually runs around 71F!

Well my seti@home client is the new v3.03 and i shut off the gui err the screensaver to get it to pack some more puch like the website said I think one of the anandtech member site nexus? Anyways the screensaver is set to go blank at 0 minutes. My dual P2450 server runs seti@home and a 275 gig FTP server with half of the directories cached to increase speed not to mention it runs seti 24/7! I have dsl 1.5/768 so my FTP is smokin! =) My giga P3 says it takes around 7 hours to do a wu but it isn't running 24/7 since that one is my game machine WOOO
( 1 P3 933 oc'ed to 1100mhz rounded, 384 mb ram, geforce 2 GTS Creative's brand, Creative pc DVD encore 5x w/ hardware decoder, soundblaster live value, dual 3com 3c90btx nics, plexwriter 4x4x24
scsi Wide cdrw, 1 seagate cheetah 9.1gb ultra 160, cheap azz adaptec 19160 160 card, 2 20gig ibm drives ultra 66 ewww thats all) are there other ways to increase the performance of this client?
That is without hindering my system performance currently? BTW I am running win2k pro and maybe I should take a pic of my dining room! I have three web cams we could do a live show hehe. Oh on another subject the RC5 client I have flushed it not to mention this is my second time trying to get it to register me! Um and the password I tried the e-mail password feature never got one but I will post my .ini file here so that someone can help me because my dual machine crunches RC5 fast. THANKS!

P.S. Thank you guys for replying and welcoming me its nice to see people still have a heart which I do not see that often anymore.

Oh and another thing yes the computers heat my place up like something fierce and for that matter everyday I hear from my girlfriend how she would rather have a table than a cluster of computers!

Hey DigWeed if you want to get even better times from seti try the text client it's much faster than the gui.

Dig, try waiting until after tonight's statsrun. If you still don't show up; we'll start analysing your INI file.

Yeah, the 3.0 CLI if you can, install it as a service on those winNT and 2K computers.
if you need some help setting up the service, drop me a PM/ICQ/Email/mesg whatever. Just keep those WU's kicken.
Also you may want to look into running SetiQ. It buffers WU's so that if the seti servers go down you still have a few days worth of WU's to munch on.

DigWeed - welcome!!! Try all the recommendations that people have posted here...

And Networkman is that all you have????

(P.S. I have to keep the patio doors open 'cause the heat from mine makes it go up to 74F! )

Ok i assume the text client is similar to d-nets so I will make the switch over to text only this way i can use 2 of em on my dual cpu machines and I will try the setiQ deal only that it says it works for version 2.0 of seti client? hmmm I will implement these suggestions or optimizations immediately.

Thanks people love the feedback

If setiQ is setup right it will work for ANY version of the client.
So It will be fine with 3.0

I've heard that setiQ will not work properly with v3.03 because seti has changed the dns info that v3.03 uses.:frown: Unless there's a way to manually change it in setiQ like in SetiGate. If there is I'd like to know so I can start my transition to v3.03.

SetiDriver however does work properly because it gets it's the info on where to connect from the client itself instead of being preset in the caching program.

Well there could be problems with setiQ conecting with the seti servers, but as long as the seti client supports running through a proxy there is no reason that it could not flush fetch from setiQ.

actually, dosn't setiQ have a proxy option too? you could just redirect where it tried to flush fetch to the new IP that seti@home uses.
