It's turned based like the Fallout 1/2 games or the new Shadowrun. Each character has action points and the number of points you have is defined by many variables. It's nicely done and the spell effects look nice.
F! You guys are making me want to buy this at full price...and I just picked up a dozen games on Steam's summer sale.

hmm the more i read the more sounds like i want to get it. Should play decent on my work laptop too, so could get in some quick gaming when slow and back to work
Just finished watching more videos. Looks like I'll need to buy this at full price. I wish I would have paid more attention during the steam sale.
Anyone known of any discounts? Looks really cool and I've started getting into these type of games lately. Also, it seems the devs are great and they are updating the game constantly. That is something that you don't see often.
Is there anyway to change it so that your partner will automatically select a response during conversations? I rather role play with just one character than having to select responses for both.
Not sure. Yeah I found this much more fun in coop.
Not sure about everyone else but I've spent a lot of time wandering talking but not many fights. and those I've found have been level 6 and my guys level 2 ....just turned 3.
I'll admit I've restarted twice trying to settle on build I like . Think I'm going with battlemage and wizard. But of course all relative to skills anyway.
This game is surprisingly good. I could go for a little more action. But I'm very early in.
It's like neverwinter nights meets magicka...sorta.
I might even snag the dlc. Rare game worth full price . I did get it on summer sale.
I'm about to buy it despite sucking at these type of games but I can tell the devs worked hard and produced a quality game.
What would be the best pair for me to start out with?
1. Ok what is up with the multiplayer with this game.. YOu are just joining someone else game. (Is the storyline not as important?)
2. It seems like the optimal choice is Cleric and fighter. If I don't have a cleric, would I have to be a potion chuggler?
You pick two characters when you start? At least that is what people were doing in the lets play YouTube videos. I'm just not sure which would be optimal for me. Also, if the game does not guide you through stuff how do you know which enemies are too powerful to fight? Can you run away if they are too tough?
