Ummm, that essentially means that they need to recall every plate having to do with anything religious.. Separation of church and state, of course. If a message on a license plate means the state is advocating it, then I don't see a difference. The constitution is pretty clear that the gov't can't advocate any particular religion. Got GOD? That's promoting something other than Buddhism. Can't let that happen.
