What really has turned me off on Sanders is not Sanders but his left wing version of Tea Partiers.
Yet Bernie has kept his promise to support the democratic nominee unlike some of the people on the right regarding a similar promise regarding the republican nominee. And his interactions with Senator Clinton and her surrogates has at times been contentious, especially seeing some of the behind-the-scenes actions via the e-mails, but he still kept his promise.
It's rather short-sided to be turned off on the person because some of his surrogates that you find unreasonable. I find that his positions are still things that the democratic party would do well to move more solidly toward.
