i don't do the whole 1/4 of this 1/16 of that BS, but we've traced our ancestory pretty far back on my dad's side.

on my dad's side we originally emigrated from france to canada, and then from canada to the midwest (indiana). last i checked it was 1700s when the surname crossed the pond.

my mom's side decended from ireland and germany. my grandmother was born in the US but her parents were born in ireland. my grandfather was the same case as my grandmother but with german heritage.

all in all, i total up to be 100% american.

My Dad's grandparents came into the USA during the late '10s-early '20s into Framingham, MA (Italian) and Lisbon, Maine (Slovak)
My Mom's grandparents back during the industrial revolution, into the Lowell / Chelmsford, MA area.

I traced my fathers side back to a single immigrant in 1625. He was from Richenbach, Basel, Switzerland
Mothers side is Irish, thought not sure when they immigrated .

Originally from the Camfields but my family changed its name in the 17/1800's. I assume they no longer wanted to be recognized as descendants of William the Conqueror at a time when America was fighting to be free of the oppression of the British monarchy.
Blackfoot Indian and many other tribes mixed in now.

Where the hell are the Asians at? I've seen the polling data on this forum and its so heavily Asian. It seems there's a lot of them around but they lurk or don't post much.

Anyways, both my parents are Taiwanese, and I was born in the US.

If you want to get specific like we Taiwanese care for political reasons, my mom is native Taiwanese but my dad isn't (wai shen ren).

OP: Yes.

I am about 73% Romanian, about 13% Russian and another percentage Turkish. There a little bits of other things as well. I call my ancestry either "mostly Romanian" or "Eastern European".

Also, it is unique for my age, but three of my four grandparents were born in the U.S. Also unique for my age: Both of my parents were born in San Francisco (as were all my siblings and I).

I have enough American Indian in my blood that I can't grow a beard and don't have much body hair. My father is of eastern european decent. His skin is olive colored and his hair is black. My mother's family is from Arkansas (I have never been there) and supposedly has lived there for many, many generations.

I have beige colored skin, light brown hair and light brown eyes. When you think "white person", well that's me.
