I used to. The neighborhood I grew up in we had bike-bys. Drive-bys were pretty rare though because a car is kind of hard to afford if you're poor.

I work in South Dallas, Oak Cliff area, the random gunfire @ night is soothing...

I've found bullet slugs in the parking lots & heard bullets hit the buildings when I wandered out for a break @ night.

You can see the skanky hookers 24/7, buy newspapers from the Nation of Islam foot soldiers on the weekends.

Gotta love the place, it's got real character

I live in the West Phoenix ghetto. There have been shootings, stabbings, drugs, etc here. I have had my car broken into and my parents had one car torched and one stolen all right outside our townhouse. We are trying to move out but I dunno when that's gonna happen because it takes a lot of money and such.

I live in a ratty part of sacramento, I would call it ghetto. I have a very nice and spacious apartment, living in 1 or 2 nice complexes in this neighborhood. This is a mainly black area, with a lot of mexicans. A lot of crime, police patrols are heavy (live 1 min away from station). Drug activity is extremley heavy (I perpetuate that activity through my chosen profession).

I get along fine here and living here has made me a better, wiser person. Can't wait to leave though =/

just in the wrong place at the wrong time... took a stray.

it was only a .22 in the shoulder...no serious damage. didnt hit any major veins or arteries or anything, minor muscle tearing. in short, it's the best possible scenario for getting shot


gangbangers use .22's cause they're really cheap ammo.

hitmen use .22's for hits cause they're really easy to silence, and they bounce around inside the body if they hit bone. so you double tap a skull, the bullets will have traveled through most the cranium and still be inside, no exit wound... looks nice and neat, less blood than other options.

a wierd misconception people have is that hitmen use sniper rifles a lot. in fact, this is not true. they will only use a sniper rifle if the job calls for a shot from a distance. in reality, if they can get the victim alone, they can isolate the body for a few minutes, the double tap with a .22 is probably the best option. then hide the body, and clear out fast as possible.


i got shot by a gangbanger. cops didnt catch anyone. <sarcasm> isnt the LAPD just wonderful???</sarcasm>
