DO cats or kittens bite into electrical cables..?

The cat I had 10 years ago+ used to like chewing the smaller wires from transformers...like the answering machine.

I had a picture (pre-digital), I was trying to find it but I don't know where it is.

He was tearing, frothing at the mouth, and shaky. Took him to the vet but he was ok.

he didn't bite wires again. For a while he'd avoid even getting near any.

Not totally sure, when I divorced at the time she took two of the cats (the brothers) and sold the other two before I knew about it. I was paying a few hundred per month to her to take care of them as she stayed in our home and I moved out.

He should be about 13 years old now.

Liberal application of Tabasco to the outside and allowed to dry will prevent hijinks while you are away.
To the cat, the cords resemble snakes, which are a natural prey for them.

I've got that covered, I can use those plastic covers that block off the electrical outlets.. I was also wondering if kittens ever fall into the toilet bowl and drown..

my cat is hungry all the time, and i think he bites stuff because he's angry at me for not feeding him... he's diabetics....


at anyrate, he destroyed 2 phone cords, and likes to gnaw on the lamp cord right now.. i'll need to buy that spray...

how did you find out he was diabetic?

how did you find out he was diabetic?

that was a few years ago, he would eat non-stop and still got thin, and he pees buckets (a major sympton due to high level of sugar in their body).....

My puppy just ate the plugged in extension cord on the back porch and isn't showing any side effects.
