I prefer macaroni drawings.

Trump was fringe as well, he still is. In a crowded field of candidates that all sounded the same, he demonstrated how the fringe can control the narrative with a well executed misinformation campaign.

That explains the GOP primary. The misinformation in the general election was different. They're still talking about locking her up. They don't even know why, but they want to do it.

Trump isn't fringe- he's just more blatant. He's doing all the right Conservative stuff, isn't he? Cutting taxes at the top? Deregulating? Cuts to social spending? More military? Packing the Bench with right wing ideologues? Crippling govt operations? Dog whistling bigotry?

No, to my shame, the Republicans have found him to be as useful an idiot as Putin did. That is why they are trying to ram as much crap through as possible.

No, Trump was embraced by the mainstream right and now is THE mainstream de facto leader of the GOP and American right wing. Fox News may as well be called Trump News.

Stein was denounced by all of the mainstream left and sidelined into a third party. Not even MSNBC endorsed her.

Even macaroni drawings wouldn't help you now.
So you decided to go with word salad instead of macaroni. I am sure Putin is very concerned about the nuance between mainstream and fringe.

The whole Crooked Hillary! routine was a work of conspiracy theory genius, wasn't it?

From Wikipedia.

"On the eve of the 15-year anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Stein called for "a comprehensive and independent inquiry into the attacks," saying that the 9/11 Commission report contained many "omissions and distortions."[148] The next day, she said: "I think I would not have assassinated Osama bin Laden but would have captured him and brought him to trial."[149]

After the death of Cuban former communist leader Fidel Castro, Stein tweeted that "Fidel Castro was a symbol of the struggle for justice in the shadow of empire."[150]"

She said that we deserve to know the truth about 9/11.

None of that substantiates your original claim - that she is a 911 conspiracy theorist. Though it could be taken as encouragement by those who are.

The point about Osama is neither here-nor-there. Probably she wasn't being very realistic in thinking that was possible, but there's nothing conspiratorial about thinking that was a better outcome.

The point about Castro is pretty much true, in any case (though with emphasis on the 'was'). Are you suggesting it isn't?

Got any evidence for your initial claim?

Self inflicted wounds are easy to exploit, and Obama already wrote the playbook on how to beat her.

Yeh, blame the victim. She's easily the most maligned presidential candidate in my lifetime. And it's all conspiracy theory. The mere mention of her name is usually enough for the bullshit slinging to commence, your own being just a small part of it.

I'm a crisis actor. I was at the Boston Marathon Finish Line when the bombs went off but based on the retards at Infowars, it was false flag fake event. I first learned about Infowars when someone linked an article by them accusing a fellow runner as the trigger woman b/c she was holding the trigger as she ran by the crowd on Boylston St and when the bombs went off the trigger went flying in the air. When I told them she was holding a paper water cup, they called me out as a crisis actor and that it was all fake. The blood, those that lost limbs, etc... Funnies thing was when they all got butt hurt when I told them it was a paper water cup and they were a bunch of idiots.

And with the latest conspiracy theory nonsense about CNN forcing a kid to read a scripted question at the townhall debate has also been thoroughly debunked:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/msn/...d-emails-with-cnn-to-media-outlets/ar-BBJvMRA

Conservatives are fucking morons thinking they could get away with this.

Wanna bet some righties will still being it up to blame media for all of this. Problem is they know a large percentage of their base are morons and will lap anything up

Obviously the newest 'hot' rightwing conspiracy theory is that the high school students in the FL school shooting aren't actually students at that school, but 'crisis actors' who work for the government to fake these tragedies. That, and the "Pizzagate" conspiracy, the Newtown shooting was faked by the gov't conspiracy, the DNC murdered seth rich. You guys call everything 'fake news', and you want to actually promote this garbage as being 'real'?

I don't know anyone that thinks any of those things are true or promoted them.
They are all stupid ideas.

There are still quite a few conservatives (mainly WikiLeaks worshippers) who genuinely believe the Seth Rich myth. They cling to it because they don't want to deal with the uncomfortable reality that they support state-sponsored Russian hackers.

Just take it as a clue that you've been marching with easily manipulated morons. Then figure out why you're with them.

Or let’s talk about Robert Reich, former advisor to numerous Presidents, who is now at the epicenter of the Berkeley anchored conspiracy left and “the resistance”. Who needs an Alex Jones when you have a whole city filled with them.

Wait, what about Robert Reich? An economics professor is IN NO WAY relatable to Alex Jones.

He's really desperate at this point, but it's not the old "they're just as bad!" routine according to him.

There is no left analogue to the pantheon of raving pundits & well financed propaganda organs of the right wing. It has no effect on public consciousness because it doesn't exist.

You asked him to address one point, and are now asking him to address another point.

"Demanding from an opponent that he or she address more and more points after the initial counter-argument has been satisfied refusing to conceded or accept the opponent’s argument."

You are literally saying he must address another point after the first point was addressed is a perfect example.

The "another point" is the original one. Early in the thread, he agreed with another user that the American left is as crazy as the right. I asked him to show me the crazed shit peddlers, he agreed that they don't exist, so now I'm getting him to concede the original point.

That's not moving the goalposts. Moving the goalposts is making counter argument after counter argument, in order to drive the discussion away from the original. Which is the opposite of what I'm doing; I made one counter argument, and am returning to the original one.

I literally defined moving the goal posts using a minor variation of the wording you linked.

Since you’ve broadened the topic to crazy, let’s talk crazy. My turn to reframe the question.

-snip-

The whole discussion started with you claiming the crazy is equal on both sides. Now you're equating one self described leftie thug with Alex Jones, the crazed conspiracy theorist with millions of viewers, some of which being in public office.

And you consider Robert Reich to be on par with Alex Jones? The same economics dude that is speaking out against neo-liberal economics and Trump's debauchery?

So a sound of mind economist is on par with alien conspiracy man. That parallel is at best dishonest. Try harder, you should be able to find the proper Alex Jones equiva-Ah wait, you admitted they don't exist, so now you're throwing everything and hoping something sticks.

Try harder.

You moved the goal posts by agreeing to objective criteria and then modifying that criteria to support your second point.

The whole discussion started with you claiming the crazy is equal on both sides.
Never claimed equivalence and this is what you still fail understand, but you’ve double downed on whatever point you think you are making.

And you consider Robert Reich to be on par with Alex Jones?
I consider him a mainstream left peddler of conspiracy. He is not red faced about it.

so now you're throwing everything and hoping something sticks.
I noticed you completely failed to address the washington DC shooter motivated by left wing mainstream media or the NYT article I provided.

Try harder.
Keep flailing about Alex Jones

I predict 72 hours of conspiracy theories, and 5 seconds of "oppsies, my bad!"
If they do correct and/or retract, no one is going to hear it.

Since the run-of-the-mill fox viewer doesn't research the information they're fed, this tactic works brilliantly. I assume 99% will live the rest of their life beliving the story as reported.
