Nope, company such as EVGA offer life time warranty to gain reputation and market shares. Once that is establish it is not particle to offer life time warranty as people well return very very old stuff.
EVGA is limited lifetime.

Not that i'm aware of and 3 years is enough for me, after that it's time for upgrade. Not to mention Gpu's hardly ever fail.
Visiontek does, at least on some cards. not sure about all of em but I was looking last night and their 7950s and 7970s on newegg had lifetime.

can't speak about the quality of their service of course since i don't own any of their cards
Hardly ever? I've had 2 fail in the last 5 years.
I keep my old computers around for my son. My 9800 GTX from 5 years ago just failed. Just sent it back to XFX this past week. Prior to that I had a graphic card fail at around 3 years. I only get a new computer every 3-4 years now, so that is a high amount. I also use a UPS battery backup, so it isn't from surges.
They don't make anything higher than the 7000s.
My XFX 9800 GTX+ is sitting storage collecting dust and it will die a slow death of becoming outdated. You can grab an equal or better card for next to nothing. I like warranties but in the PC world they don't mean much outside of 90 days.
On a side note, tech appears to be slowing.
That is true. Warranty on it is ONE year though...
