I would have quit and walked out first. I don't clean toilets, never have and never will.
Not even the toilet in your house?

Your manager is a D*CK. It is his responsibility to clean that bathroom. He is running the show. Next time the area manager comes in have a talk with them.
Fast food restaurants managers clean the toilets when it gets that dirty. Any good manager who cares about his/her job would do it and not ask the employees to do it. You are just a good employee who didn't quit. 99.5% of employees would say NO and the manager cannot fire them because they will usually end up firing the entire staff.
Your job was not to clean the toilet. If they told you before they hired you, fine. However, you are a cashier.
