I dislike a lot of vegetables.
Onions, carrots, cabbage, lettuce, spinach, etc.
That said, I love food and I love trying new things. I love Chinese, Thai, teriyaki, Indian, etc.
I love spicy food.
I eat my burgers with no vegetables, except for jalapeños.(no I'm not a pompous prick who needs to be the squiggly above the 'n' but Chrome's spell checker suggested it)
I like pickles, but I just don't like that texture on a burger. They're good but not worth the wet soggy or crunchy they add to the burgers. Jalapeños are worth it though.
Personally, I am irritated by people who are afraid of spicy food, or freak out if they eat even the mildest spicy food. I understand that I've built up a tolerance for highly spicy foods, and my range is outside of that of most people's.... But to not eat pepperoni because it is too spicy? are you fucking kidding me?
Also, people who won't touch seafood. People that won't even give it a try. I can understand being squeamish about calamari or lobster or something, but shrimp? fish? You aren't living life if you haven't tried those. I've tried all the vegetables I don't like, don't like the taste/texture, and hence don't like them. I've never been afraid to try a new one.
About vegetarians...
We have teeth designed for tearing meat. Whether you believe in a god or in evolution or both, our teeth are designed that way for a reason. We are not designed to be strict herbivores. We are omnivores.
Whenever I meet someone who proclaims they are a vegetarian for PETA type reasons, I make sure to eat an extra serving of meat in their honor. Maybe order an all-meat pizza to make sure I'm supporting the death of cows, pigs, chickens, etc all in that person's honor!
