Replying to threads that you have no intelligent input on, giving 2 different opinions on the same subject, just being an asshat....it irks me.

For some reason the older I get, the "stupid" people bother me much less than those who angrily & repetitively respond to stupid posts. They should know better.

Stupid people at the ATM in front of me who do not know how to work the machine make me mad.
Stupid people who abuse the "express" line at the store when they clearly have more than 10 items piss me off. (Self check out is a wonderful thing!)
Stupid people who steal things make me mad.

Sometimes, but over time you learn ignore it like Vdub said. I have a couple niches here that I really enjoy, like my little Hackintosh thread, and sometimes you get people who refuse to read the (clear, step-by-step, painstakingly-written) instructions, won't try any procedures to fix their problems, or just troll in general. I've taken the bait more than I wish I had, but eventually you just let it go.

I think it's human nature to care too much about the opinion & approval of strangers, so it's mostly just a skill you have to develop, unless you're a strong type-A personality and just don't care

Fighting stupidity is the very definition of stupid. I used to try and combat it at every chance I got in real life. Then I realized how futile it was, since stupid is an unstoppable force. Once I learned to let shit go, I found I lived a happier life.

As someone in the thread mentioned earlier...think of it as comedy.

Another thing that upsets me is people that argue about things they don't understand. There was someone spouting some FOX news story about how doctors won't accept Obamacare. They don't even understand that Obamcare isn't insurance.

Stupidity doesn't bother me much, esp. on the internet.

Intolerance, rigid and closed minded thinking, unwilling to even consider any other point of view except their own narrow view of the world and then chastising/belittling anyone who dares disagree with it....that's what grinds my gears.
