I felt this way at least 10 years ago.....and learned to let it go/not bother me over time.

Particularly when I read about these basement dwelling modern progressive kids. Most of the ultra progressives think the world owes them and the rest of the lazy segment of society. It's just sad to see how many people are like this.
I personally enjoying ripping into idiots on the internet. When I do it in real life I tend to get punched.
The idea that the world owes you something is nothing new in this country. See manifest destiny, see racism and slavery, see the mass destruction of our environment in the early 1900's, see yourself and your ineffectual angry posts on the internet. In fact people in this country have pretty much thought the world owed us everything for as long as it has existed.
I agree, but these 16-25 year old modern progressives don't think the "world" owes them something, they specifically think that the "rest of society" owes them something.
I believe it's human nature to think that, in a cosmic sense, you are special and things should go your way.
To me, that is very different from this modern progressive mindset which culminated in the early 2000's that one should be able to get a lib arts degree, press out some coffee, and then get a $250k house with $50k car.
Same concept that we should prop up the lazy bottom feeders eating off of our social welfare system.. Exact same basement dwellers, trying to make some case like these people just are down on their luck. They are somehow incapable of realizing that lazy people do this to themselves and should be removed from society rather than push laws to actually promote these lazy scumbags to breed more lazy scumbags.
The older I get, the less tolerance I have for internet stupidity.
